DESCRIPTION
Taverna Nikolas in Corfu has a long history and a very old tradition.
It was opened by Periclis Katsaros in Agni beach three generations ago and today his nephew with his son will welcome you!
Nikolas tavern is a traditional Greek restaurant open both for lunch and dinner that will permit you to taste local recipes of meat and fresh fish in a friendly and charming atmosphere.
Nikolas tavern is placed just few meters far from the sea and you can reach Agni bay by car, or arrive from the sea and leave your boat in front of the restaurant.
Here you can taste a large variety of the traditional Greek cuisine and Corfiot specialities.
You can start your meal with fried prawn balls, a Greek salad or with green peppers stuffed with feta cheese and baked into the oven.
If you choose fish you can taste delicious local recipes such as Bianco (fish in the oven with potatoes), the local hot fish soup called Bourdeto or a fresh fish grilled.
If you prefer meat you can choose between local recipes as Pastitsada, Sofrito and beef Stifado.
Nikolas tavern offers every evening a free transport up and down from Kalami bay to Agni beach, and can provide you a taxi boat service for any place you like.
We suggest you to visit Nikolas tavern on Thursday night as you will find a Greek live music show.
A good idea is also to come here for a morning swim and to stay here for lunch.

Best sea-front restaurant. We ha accommodation in Aghios Stefano, not far from here. Came two times. Very polite staff, good prices.
