Kassiopi
The town
Built in ancient times as a fishermen village, it offers today every kind of tourist structures including two different beaches.
During ancient Roman domination Kassiopi was a rich town due to a great naval trade.
Today is a village full of charm with its central square, its picturesque port and the ruin of a Byzantine castle.
Just behind Kassiopi we can see the Mountain Pantokratoras.
Kassiopi is surrounded by green vegetation and it is the last village along the coast that is in front of the Albanian coast.
The port of Kassiopi is still in use today by local fishermen who give a beautiful example of the simple Greek traditions.

The beach

The first one is a rocky bay on the left side of the town, is very wide and there are beach umbrellas, deck chairs and water sports.
The other two beaches are just behind the cape, they are smaller than the first one but more picturesque.
The biggest beach is near the village that offers many tourist facilities all day long.
How to move

It’s moreover possible to take jeeps, motorbikes or bicycles for rent.
If you like here in Kassiopi you can take a private boat for rent or experience some organised tours.
The shops
